Raffle Name Picker
Pick a Winner from Raffle Tickets
Add each entrant with the number of valid tickets they hold, then draw a winner using those ticket counts. More tickets mean more chances, just like a normal raffle.
Quick Setup
Enter each entrant and their valid whole ticket count, then draw the next winner.
How to Use It
-
1. Add entrants and ticket counts
Enter each person once with the correct whole ticket count instead of repeating their name over and over.
-
2. Check the ticket totals
Check the total number of tickets and decide before the first prize whether a winner should be removed from later draws.
-
3. Draw the winner
Run the draw and record the winner. If there are several prizes, use the same rule throughout so everyone knows whether one person can win more than once.
Useful Features

More Useful Guidance
Ticket counts create the odds
A raffle is different from an ordinary name draw because some people can hold more tickets than others. Enter each person once with the number of valid tickets they have. Their chance is then based on that ticket count, which is much easier than typing the same name over and over.
Example: 10 tickets vs 2 tickets
If Alice has 10 tickets and Ben has 2, there are 12 tickets in the draw. Alice represents 10 of those chances and Ben represents 2. If there are several prizes, decide beforehand whether a winner's remaining tickets should stay in for later prizes.
Check the ticket total before the first draw
The random selection can only be as accurate as the ticket counts entered. Compare the displayed total with your sales or entry record before drawing. Correct any missing or duplicated tickets first. Do not alter the counts after seeing an unwanted result; that would change the agreed odds after the draw has effectively begun.
Raffle Picker vs Weighted Picker
Raffle Name Picker is best when every chance comes from a whole ticket. Weighted Random Picker is more flexible when you want to give options custom weight values, including decimals. If the rule is simply 'one chance per ticket', the raffle picker is easier to set up and explain.
How the Result Is Chosen
Fair selection
Every ticket counts as one equal chance. Someone with five tickets therefore has five times the chance of someone with one ticket.
Privacy
Names and ticket counts stay on the device while you run the draw. The tool does not sell tickets or handle payments.
Common Questions
How are the odds worked out?
Each ticket counts equally, so someone with twice as many tickets has twice as many chances.
Can I remove a winner before the next prize?
Yes. Remove-winner mode can take that entrant and their tickets out of later draws.
Can I use decimal ticket amounts?
No. This raffle picker uses whole ticket counts. Use Weighted Random Picker when you want custom weight values instead.
Does this manage the legal side of a raffle?
No. It only performs the random draw from the ticket information you provide.
Can one person win more than one prize?
That depends on whether you remove a winner after a prize. Decide the rule before the first draw.
Do ticket counts need to add up to 100?
No. They are ticket counts, not percentages. The total is simply all the tickets you entered added together.
